Project Description

The PRAISE project focuses on addressing polarization and radicalization issues among adolescents (aged 13-17) in urban areas.

Centered on schools, the project utilizes innovative training and gaming materials to cultivate critical thinking and socio-ecological competences in students, empowering them to avoid or disengage from radicalized behaviors.

Through the development of resilience mechanisms and exit strategies, adolescents can transition towards:

  1. active citizenship
  2. democratic participation
  3. social inclusion.

The project also supports European school teachers and managers with the PRAISE Toolkit, offering innovative methodologies to enhance teaching activities.

Impact

The PRAISE project empowers educators to foster socio-ecological resilience in students, preventing radicalization.

It equips them with resources and tools through a multidisciplinary approach and the PRAISE Toolkit, creating “radicalization-free” school environments.

This benefits participating organizations, enhances local and national collaboration, and strengthens the EU’s capacity to prevent radicalization and promote social inclusion, contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable Europe.
